Read My Journal

This was an in home extended family and milestone session rolled into one in Milton. One question from my questionnaire is “tell me about the people being photographed, likes and dislikes” to which Mama answered : “hates clutter and likes minimalism”. Girlfriend, what more can I ask for? Can I tell you about my OCD and the flow I have when cleaning? It has to be my way or it’s not clean at all.. Also night resets? Necessary! Basically Pam and I are the same people when it comes to cleanliness. And apparently wardrobe! Ha! You will know what I am talking about once you see the photos.

Happy : Pam and I knew each other through her cousin, Kat. Pam and her whole family is hands down the most genuinely funny group of people you will ever meet. We were just laughing the whole time. It was such a fun time capturing photos for them. It did not feel like work. They were very warm and welcoming. I want to see them every week

Sentimental : Grandparents joined the session last minute which I gladly welcomed! The love they have for Mateo fills the whole house. It was such an honour to photograph. I am so blessed that I get to witness and capture these photos that I am sure would be treasures later on.

Joyful : From the moment I stepped into their home (which was btw my type A personality appreciated so much) until I left, my heart was filled with joy. My creative cup was full as the whole family trusted me with the process. My heart was full with the love I have witnessed, not only from mom and dad, but from the grandparents as well. My stomach was also full from all the food they shared with me to eat. I mean, what more can I ask for?!
