My Mississauga newborn photography sessions are baby led, simple and lifestyle. Whether you choose in-studio or an in-home one, the process remains the same. I focus on the positions that a baby would naturally be in where the baby’s personality shines the most - the way they cuddle next to you, the way you hold them as they lay peacefully in your arms, the way they sleep, breathe and dream.

We provide neutral swaddles and onesies for babies and wardrobe for mommas. The goal is to take the photos in the first two weeks once the baby is born when they are naturally sleepy and we can show how tiny and little they are. BUT I respect the mommas and their recovery. Every postpartum experience is different.

Aside from providing the wardrobe for mommas and babies, and a style guide for dads, I also collaborate with you to best prepare for photo day - around naptimes, busy schedules, etc.

On the day of your Mississauga newborn photography session, we take breaks as necessary. Please reserve up to two hours for newborn photo sessions. All immediate family are welcome to join. After 3-4 weeks’ lead time, you will receive your gallery for the first time, and there you will order the products that make the most sense to you.

Aside from providing the wardrobe for mommas and babies, and a style guide for dads, I also commission my hair and make-up artist and send her to your homes to get mommas ready to lessen their stress for photo day.

On the day of the Mississauga Newborn Photography session, we take breaks as necessary. Please reserve up to two hours for newborn photo sessions. All immediate family are welcome to join. After 2-weeks’ lead time, we meet again to see your gallery for the first time, and there you will order the products that make the most sense to you.

The Mississauga newborn photographer full service experience is designed to take care of: wardrobe, how to best prepare for the session, and getting those digital files printed and displayed at home for everyone to enjoy together.

Mamas, I know you're busy. The average adult makes around 35,000 decisions each day but moms probably have double or triple than those numbers. Our minds never stop. This full service experience is meant to put your mind at ease so that the decisions you have to make will only be around 10K tops. Ha!

I get it. Postpartum life is hard. Newborn photos are probably the last thing on your mind. Everything is sore. Everything hurts. There are many things you have to do and not do. It is hectic.

Once you have completed the contract and questionnaire, you are officially booked. We begin planning! I send you a wardrobe proposal and you let me know what you think. We plan for the location and time of day. For wardrobe, you have the option to pick them up from me a week before the session (Waterdown). Alternatively, I can bring the dresses on the day of the session.

We planned for this from wardrobe to location, to your kids' nap time. We got this. I bring prompts and play to the session. Consider it a yes day (unless it is dangerous).

We let the children be. You love on them. You go down to their level, engage with them. You try to enjoy it. Because when you do this again next time, they won't be this little anymore.

After 3-4 weeks, you will receive your gallery via a private link. All your photos come with a print release. You can download all you digital photos. You can print them yourself (I can recommend a professional lab) or you can print through me!

If you ordered an album or a wall art, you will receive them after 8-12 weeks after ordering. They can be picked up (Waterdown) or delivered to your home for everyone to enjoy!

Have questions?

Light! During our pre-planning session, I would ask for photos or videos to determine which spots are best to photograph in your home. You would be surprised at what comes out great in photos. The general guideline is that we need a window where light is coming from since I am a natural light photographer, and a neutral wall.

What do you look for in a home when doing Burlington in home sessions?

Please reserve up to 2 hours of session time for Mississauga newborn photos. This gives us time to stop for breaks, when the baby needs to get changed or feed.

How long is the session?

I offer lifestyle newborn sessions whether in home or in the studio. I strongly recommend simple colours in the clothing choices for everyone in the family to make sure that the people are the focus of the photos. I include styling services in my full sessions.

What type of newborn session do you offer?

The first two weeks would be ideal for those sleepy photos. This is also a great time to show their tiny features. But as a Burlington newborn photographer I have photographed older babies - one to two months old - and they do photograph really well too. I would say it depends on the comfort level of momma more so.

What is the best age to photograph babies?

I require AT LEAST a month’s notice since we source wardrobe for mommas and babies, and we make sure our hair and makeup artist is available. I would suggest reaching out at the beginning of your third trimester.
