Ever since moving to Hamilton, I have been making sure to visit all the local spots that would be lovely to photograph. I’ve got by the water, garden, park, field on my list. This castle falls under my “architectural” list along with Paletta Mansion and McMaster U. I have done one engagement session here but this one’s from a different season of life : maternity!

Happy : It was a relatively mild weather when we had our session. And it was a cloudy, overcast day! IYKYK Also found out that Devon’s baby shower is actually inside the castle! What a turn of fate!

Sentimental : Ahhh first pregnancy! It’s exciting. It’s scary. It’s next level. But it sure is a time that a woman will remember for the rest of her life. I feel emotional that I can take these kinds of photos. I hope they serve their purpose, 20 to 30 years from now.

Joyful : This location has so many good pockets that’s so pretty to photograph. It was a joy to go around the park and use all the different angles to capture this special time in this couple’s lives.
