Today, I am sharing with you photos taken at a very special location – Cityview Park. This has been my family’s go-to for hiking. The trails are family friendly, even my two year old can hike it. It is also connected to another great park called Kerncliff. This park is great for photos and I always recommend it to anyone especially in the fall season!

What I love about Cityview Park (Burlington) : 

The park is safe for kids

Kids love to run around and the park is safe for little kids to wander about. The trails have many wood chips. There is a large field in all the ways you turn. Honestly, when photos are done here, I’d even recommend making it like a walk in the park because that’s what it truly should feel like. 

Large and has many spots

The park is enormous since it is connected to hiking trails. But it also means there are many spots for everyone. Everytime I have had a session here it never felt like it was crowded with many photographers although it is a popular spot for photos. The best part? There is also a playground where you can end up taking your kids and picnic after the session (if this is something you want to plan on).

Nature photos any time of the day

Aside from an open field, many grassy spots, the park also has many trees. This means shade! And shade means spots that are very good for photos at any time of the day. This is great because kids’ nap times vary depending on their ages. But at this park, we can be photographing around their nap times!
