This was a quick and fun session. It was my first time photographing a maternity session at the beach. We met at the strip where Burlington Beach span. We selected a nice spot where I gave the couple some prompts to assist with gentle poses. But they did not need much direction. They were naturals. The light was good although we were in between of winter/spring weather in Ontario where you are not sure what to really wear. Down jacket is too thick but the fall jacket is too thin. But these memories were surely warm.

Happy : To capture memories for an expecting couple at the beach, nonetheless!

Sentimental : I don’t know about you but this in between weather just adds to the photographs’ sentimentality. It’s the juxtaposition of the weather and the next season of the couple’s journey for me.

Joyful : Their wardrobe, their joy, the light, the in between weather, they all came in together. It’s art and my photographer’s heart is full.
