Ana Dufreche’s Fully Booked and Thriving
I have done this course at the beginning of the year. And for context, I’ve been an advertising professional for 10 years and I still got a lot from the course. The strategies are nothing new (and this is not a bad thing) but Ana presents it in a way that you are able to understand, follow and implement without the overwhelm. Ana is also very hands on and is a warm person. As a result, my calendar is consistently booked and last spring was my best spring so far since 2021.
The first course I should have probably bought when I started in photography. She teaches not only how to shoot light and airy (which is the style that I am drawn to), but she teaches you how to understand light. As a result, and because of her course, I am able to navigate any kind of light, even a midday harsh one at that. I don’t need sunset to create consistent bright and airy images that I love and proud to deliver to my clients!
Two things: I am an over-shooter and I hate culling (I think this might be the longest part in my process). Until the Art of Curation. Brooke’s course helped me to cull faster, and to remind me not to overshoot (this is a process I am still learning). She also taught how to select your best images, whether showcasing it on your socials or website. She tells you straightforwardly what you need to improve and I like it. As a result, I can cull faster (under one hour of 15-20 mini session galleries without AI).
During wintertime here in Canada, all sessions move indoors! I understand light outdoors well but I have felt that my indoor sessions do not match its level. But thanks to Morgan’s course, it made me love the indoor sessions as much as I have loved my outdoor sessions. I have been experimenting with all the things she teaches in the course, and I can say, it helped me booked more indoor in-home sessions during the wintertime of this year.
Although it was technically a service, because of Melissa, I have understood more about SEO. And I actually enjoy it. It is like a game. She thinks of literally everything and gives you all the tools to succeed and be found on Google. Couple months after she worked on my website, and left me with the follow up of things to do, I was not only ranking but was on the first page for the keywords we were targeting. Talk about results.
